CROWN PRINCE HOTEL
SURABAYA, INDONESIA
In 2012, we took over a project which had been left for years, then we started with new concept as a budget 4 stars-hotel. In the 1st floor until the 5th, these will be for public space. In the 6th until 16th floor is focused only for rooms. The rooms are divided into three types of room, which are suite rooms, executive rooms dan also standard rooms.
The concept design has focused on more of the bright, tranquil, and luxury. Therefore, we use white color in most of our design. We also use modern pattern in each wall to give modernity impression and also to make the ceiling seem higher. These pattern is repeated at other rooms in such a modified and colorfull shape. For lighting design, we use many hidden lamps for indirect lighting for emphasize the pattern and also to create luxury ambiance. In some rooms like in the meeting rooms, we use many indirect lighting lamps to prevent the glare so that the lamps are install inside the coves. The lighting design for the façade is focused on how the lighting could make the building more eye-catching and more interesting than other buildings in the surroundings.

CONCEPTUAL FIVE STAR RESORT HOTEL IN MOUNTAIN OF EUROPE
The concept for this project is to bring the essence of nature into interior of this five star hotel since its located in mountain. We want people could enjoy nature inside out. Nature could affect the changing of human behaviour and mood so we study and design different mood in every area to make people feel their holiday better but also meet with general requirements for each area.
The dynamic detail of nature is presented to make people more active and directed through one area to another area. For the lighting design, we focus to balance between simplicity and dynamic form due to keep people's mood. In some important areas, we dare to play a bit more to show playful and fun side. Mostly of our luminaire are put following the architecture form but especially for bedroom, we focus to follow the function to make a better ambience for bedroom.
